Anyamangana

Centre for African Spirituality and the Healing Arts

Welcome to Anyamangana

Europe meditates towards the East and listens to the shamanic voices of Central and South America — and in doing so overlooks an entire cosmos right at its door: Africa has carried a spiritual depth and wisdom for centuries, preserved not in books but passed on orally across generations — alive, unbroken, powerful.

Yet the colonial gaze has long obscured, distorted, and silenced this richness.

It is time to stop viewing the African continent through foreign narratives, and to recognise its wisdom for what it is: original, multi-layered, and of timeless significance.

Anyamangana offers the opportunity to explore oneself, find inner order, and develop spiritually through ancient and proven African methods from southern and western African cultures.

Anyamangana is a word from the Bantu language family describing a person who, while honouring their roots, continues to grow, acquires knowledge, and transforms it into wisdom.

That is what Anyamangana seeks to contribute.

About me

I am a doctor, Sangoma, and Bwiti initiate – and I see myself as a bridge-builder between cultures, healing traditions, and worlds. My work unites scientific knowledge with the deep, living wisdom of African traditions and Eastern paths of inner contemplation.
